The duo Tribeca-Grand flips the Grammy award winning classic Digable Planets “Rebirth of Slick" track as they salute where they're from in their new single, "NY-PHI." The group explains the motivation for the song. "We wanted to follow up with something that spoke to who we are aside from ‘Take A Knee,’” Tribeca-Grand says about “NY-PHI.” “The obvious part is where we're from. But to mash up Digable Planets and Boyz II Men, that speaks more to the flavor of the forthcoming album Sport Of The Gods. It’s adventurous and artful, but commercially solid."
