Director Eli Roth recreates the 1974 revenge thriller Death Wish. Dr. Paul Kersey (Bruce Willis) is a surgeon who constantly sees the aftermath of Chicago violence when it seeks into his ER. However, the violence hits close to home as his wife(Elisabeth Shue) and college-age daughter (Camila Morrone) were viciously attacked. With the police being overloaded with crimes and unable to find the culprits who brutally attacked his family. Dr. Paul Kersey becomes a deadly vigilante as he hunts his family assailants to seek justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grabs the media’s attention, the city wonders if this vigilante is a guardian angel or a grim reaper.
