New York City brings the diversity of musical sound in hip hop. Despite the transition of the music, the art form never leaves. Where does it lead to? Hip Hop lovers continue to keep the culture alive with the old school boom bap formula and lyrics. This includes Peasant Podium's Rhinocerous Funk who never stray away from making quality music. Rhino is not new to this from hosting the forever solace "Art of Lyrics" radio show and live showcases promoting underground talent. Rhino takes it another notch as he introduces the fans to his new project "XXtra Duck Sauce".

The production on the album creates the cool boom-bap production that fits Rhinocerous Funk rhyming cadence. The Silent Someone produced "Stop Sleeping" brings the old school vibe as Rhino spits heavy on the uptempo beat. Tone Spliff adds serious cuts and production while infusing Smooth B's vocals on the chorus in "Like A Rhinoceros". Microphone domination best describes "Abstract Funk" when Rhino takes the wheel effortlessly as a solo artist staying funky like that over Manoril production.

The guest appearances best fit with the project. Yahzeed connects with Rhino on the Verbal Lexapro foundation in "Pen to the Extreme" to Silent Someone produced "Own Way To Do It" where both of them trade lyrical blows and the moody aggressive "Scientists of Sound". DJ Fred One adds the production arsenal on "Stomp Yoo Feet" featuring Preacher Mann while adding the cuts to "Binge" Rhino gets the assist from Ciphy Diggy.

Rhino takes this project on an innovative journey by sticking to the hip hop sound while staying to the Latin roots. JD Asere provides the additional sound as Rhino spits the Espanol perfectly in"Mas o Meno" while getting the assistance scratches from DJ Fred One in "Te Digo". Rhino delivers the end of the project with perfection shedding light on his hard work creating a platform for underground artists on "The Podium Anthem" showing dedication to the Art of Lyrics/Peasant Podium shows for the love of the music.

"XXtra Duck Sauce" takes the listener to Rhino's soul with the affinity to appreciate good quality music. Production blends perfectly requiring the line of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The right formula for this project: the right amount of duck sauce; the xxtra duck sauce made this project more delightful. It's a must-listen!!!!
